June activities & 4th of July

It has been a while since I have posted sorry. Summer life is crazy. I have been on the go since my grandpa's funeral. I am just getting back to the swing of things. This post is going to have a little bit of everything. First things first.

We had all the family down when grandpa Milt died so we were able to do a few things with the Cockrell's. We always have fun when they are around one day we headed to the beach to the tide pools It was high tide but we still had fun Aaron (Chris's little boy) wasn't to sure he was going to like it at first but after awhile we couldn't get him to leave.

We also took a trip with the kids to the Discovery Science center while the Dad's and Uncle's went to the beach and the Aunt's went shopping. My kids loved it. Jonathan is such a science kid he couldn't get enough of it. Then they had the Dino fossil hunt which my kids loved but I had to be really involved so I didn't get many pictures of that. They can't wait to go back.

We had our first 4th of July in Lake Elsinore. We had fun with some friends and family. Ryan, Denise, Julie, Brett, My mom and Pat. Then later on that day the Vidal's (from our ward) came. We had a BBQ and a water balloon fight then got all cleaned up and headed to the park to see the fireworks. After the fired works we headed back to our house to make smores with our fire pit. I love that we are able to have these get together's at our house.
