The Sox first game

Jonathan had his first game today. The first thing Jonathan said when he saw the field he was going to be playing on was, "Mom it has real bases." To cute. It made me laugh. Today's game wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. His team played very well. Jonathan even made a few good plays himself. His was great at bat and slid in a home every time I think that was his favorite part. It was so cute to see him get on base (everyone does there are no outs) when on base he would wave and give us the thumbs up sign. At times he got a bit board. But, still hung in there. I am so proud of my big guy. I am excited for the season.

His first hit of the season. Without the tee. Way to go JonO

On base

His slide home. They have been practicing on the grass. Sliding is not very easy to do on the grass. But on this field with the dirt all the kids looked like pro's. Each one got to slide at home plate
Jonathan's Cheerleader

One of Jonathan's many fan's.

In the dugout. Our monkey boy. Would you expect anything else from this kid?

On the field. Got a little boring for him at time but he stuck it out.

The end to the game with the traditional good game line. We had fun watching and Jonathan had fun playing. Until next week.

Oh-too cute! He just looks adorable out there on the field. I am glad it went well.
