Here's to 2008

Our 2008 was a great year for us. We moved into a bigger place Jonathan started school. Our family has grown very close this year. I can't believe how big the kids have gotten. Each of them has done something to make our 2008 so great. So to end our year we had a New Years eve party at our house with a few of our family and friends. We played Wii some board games and ate lots of food. Good thing for the Wii fit.

First Family picture of 2009
I know they look drunk but really it is apple cider.
Scott, Liz, Ryan and Denise Ringing in the new year.

Katelyn, Braden, Jonathan and Brady.

New Years Day Dave really wanted to go on a hike. So out of bed and ready for a hike at 9am after a really long night. My mom's night ended at 5am. I still called her and got her to join us in on the fun. I couldn't tell you where we went but it ended up at a stream that the kids loved. We ate a snack, jumped on a few rocks, threw a few rocks and headed back to the car. It was a good day may not have been what I would have planned but it was good memories with their Papa and my mom.

Jonathan jumped from rock to rock. We were lucky to not have any spills.

Katelyn had fun making cookies out of mud for the animals.

Braden and Tytus took turns throwing rocks in to the stream.

I was really hoping Troy would fall in. He does the craziest things. I had to run and get my camera cause if he was going in I had to have it on film. No such luck he actually made it across even with everyone throwing rocks at him trying to get him to fall.

Braden looked so cute with his hiking stick. It helped him get up a pretty steep hill.

On the 3rd we went to Griffith Park with the Dwelley's to get a few big family pictures since Troy was in town with the boys. I haven't got the pictures yet but this one I took with my camera. I love it don't they look like they love each other.

Here's to 2009 may it be as great as 2008.
