Our stockings all hung by the Chimmny with care.....

This year my mom made stockings for us. It has been driving me crazy that our stockings don't match. I have mine from when I was a kid, Matt has his and the kids didn't really have anything. Both Matt and I had our stockings made by our grandma's. I figured the kids needed their grandma to make them theirs. I gave my mom the "but our grandma's made them for us" speech. Not soon after to the drawing board she went. My mom always has great ideas in her head it is just getting them out that is the hard part. :) This time she did a really good job. I am very happy with the way they turned out. Matt's isn't done yet and the kids names aren't on But I am happy with what we have to put on our first mantel. Now I have to tell you this is all handmade. My mom didn't even use a pattern. Aunt Jill would be proud. :) Thank you mom for all your hard work. Just remember your not done though Matt and I are still missing ours. I'm hopping we will get more than cole this year so we need a stocking for Santa to fill.

My mom wraped them up and put small gifts in then and the kids opened them.

Jonathan (snowman) Katelyn (baby Jesus) Braden (Santa)

We are missing two so I will have to to an update to the post so you can see all five hung up with names and all.

Wow! Impressive, your mom should make some extra money and sell them on ebay :) They turned out really cute. Nothing better than having grandma make something special for the children you can keep for years

Adorable! Do you know about how much they cost to make? I would totally buy them! I have been wanting some for my kids too.

And, your kids all look so cute and so big. I can't believe how old they look. Plus, Katelyn's hair is really gettig long now.
