I can't believe it has almost been a month since I last posted. Life, it comes at you fast. The month of June and July were and still are very busy for me and my family. First some good news. We are moving. Whoooooo! I can't tell you how happy we are about that one. August 1st we will be in a Townhouse in Fullerton. We get to stay in our same ward but have 650 more square feet to live in. It is a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath with a 2 car garage. We are so excited and can't wait to start moving. The packing has already began.
Activities for the month of June
The kids were invited to go over to a friend's house in our ward. They rented a big blow up water slide. Jonathan had a blast playing with the big kids all 15 and up. Katelyn, Braden and I were just fine sun bathing in the pool with Megan.
Then we helped Julie celebrate Brett's birthday. She did a surprise party for him at Lucky Strikes at the block. Dinner and bowling what is better than that? We had a blast.
A friend told me about a water park that was just opening in La Mirada. So, we decided to check it our with some friends. The kids had so much fun. It is set up more for younger kids. However they do have 3 slides for the bigger kids to go on. This is a place you have to check out. The price is good and the kids have fun.
On the 28th I headed off to youth conference with my stake. I also had the great opportunity to bring my brother Patrick along for the experience. That week was much fun. I am so glad our Parents were able to help us out with the kids so I could go. It was as uplifting to me as it was for the youth. We really do have a great ward. And my girls are great I love them all. I wish I could write all about that week but it would take way to long so if you really want to know ask me and I will tell you all of the great things that happened.
Our Ward Picture the night before we left.
Now on to July and it is still not over. I love the summer. We always do so much more as a family. So lets see what have we done so far this month.
Activities for the month of July
The 4th started out not too good. We thought Joanthan was going to be sick all day. He woke up with a really bad headache. So we had to cancel out San Diego trip. We were really sad but we figured he shouldn't walk around the sun all day. So we headed off to the ward pancake breakfast. Then later that day we were invited over to the Pelphrey's for swimming and a BBQ. So much fun. Mike and Brandon filled up there 77 truck with water and drove the kids and some adults around the block. It was so much fun. We were sloshing around the back of the truck like fish. It was a great idea and a tone of fun.
Then we headed to the park to watch the fireworks. This year was no different than any other. Jonathan and Katelyn had their hands over there ears and watched the show. I think this 4th tops the rest by far.
Later that week I was able to pick up my cousin Candace from the airport. Her and her family spent a week here. Candace came down to shop for wedding dresses. She found the most beautiful dress and is going to look absolutely gorgeous on her wedding day. I can't post a picture of her dress but this is just as cute.

Along with dress shopping we had to fit in some girl days. One of the days we were able to go to the Glen Ivy spa. So relaxing. I can't wait to go again. Thank you Jason for letting Candace come visit her crazy family. One that you will be apart of very soon.
Candace and Denise look very cute in the mud. There is a picture of the three of us but I wouldn't want to frighten any of my readers. I want you to come back and read without being afraid of what pictures might show up. The one below is of the three of us in the spa.
If you made it to the end of this post you are a trooper and you must really love us. I promise I won't wait this long to post again. Well, I'll try with the move it might be awhile till I get to it.

Your Aunt Wendy told me about the truck pool thing. She thought it was the best idea and that we should do it around their loop. I'm game. It looks like fun.
Yeah I am so glad you get to move into a bigger place! I'll be coming to Cali in August...unfortunately 2 days after the reunion. Gehren has Nat'l Guard duty that weekend. You'll have to tell me how it goes. :)
