Early Easter Picnic

Saturday we got together with family and had a early Easter Picnic and egg hunt with the cousins at a park by our house. The kids had a blast with their cousins. But before the fun we took pictures of the cousins together. We got matching outfits for the girls and boys. I think they we to cute but hey I'm related to them all.

After pictures we ate and let the kids go play. My dad came with Karen and their two kids. They brought their baseball gear and they headed to the top of the hill so that the mom's could hide all the eggs. The kids could not wait for the Easter egg hunt :) Once we were done they came running down the hill ready to hunt. We let the 3 younger kids go first, a min. ahead of the older kids then they were all off. Charlo was so funny she would only pick up the pink and purple eggs. That girl always puts a smile on my face. When the hunt was over the kids opened their eggs to see what they got. I love seeing the smiles on their faces. Holidays are so much fun especially when you get to spend them with family.

Make sure you spend the actual day with those you love and remember why we celebrate Easter. Christ suffered for our sins then gave us the best gift ever resurrection. Always remember the reason for THIS season.
