Fun with Braden

We brought Addisyn home Friday afternoon and my mom came at like 6:00 and picked up Jonathan and Katelyn for their trip to Utah. I really only had the 4 kids together for a few hours. I have only been a mom of 2. It has been nice because Matt and I have been able to pay a tone of attention to Braden. We were really worried the new baby would be hard for him. So here are a few things that we have been able to do with him. Nothing big since I really can't leave the house yet but none the less things that Braden was really excited to do.

First off Braden has really got to spend a lot of time with Addisyn. He loves to hold her and has even feed her a few times.

He loves to take pictures of her this was one of them.

I took him out front to roll down our hill. He insisted I take pictures of him.

We found his old baby play mat and put batteries in it him and Addisyn played under it together.

Then the best thing we did was make a cake. He asked if I would make a cake for him. so I said sure. It is a really yummy chocolate cake you make in the microwave. It looks weird in the picture but it is yummy. After I made it he asked where the candles were. I didn't know he wanted a birthday cake. I have no birthday candles but I do have big house candles. So we sang happy birthday and he blew out his candle. He loved it. I miss Jonathan and Katelyn but it has been really nice spending time with my little boy. He has been such a big help. Clearing the table after we eat, cleaning up his messes, getting me diapers, and just being a good big brother. I love my sweet Braden and am grateful for the time I have got to spend with him.

That's so awesome that you were able to devote quality time with Braden. He looks so happy when he is with his little sister!
