Easter and a week of sick...

This post is a little late but the kids have been sick and I haven't been feeling very well either. So better late than never. We started off the weekend with Jonathan's friend Andrew Reese staying the night. They boys have been wanted to get together so we finally picked a night. The next day we headed to an Easter egg hunt at a park by us to only find out it was at a different park. Ya I have a mommy brain. So since we missed that we decided to take the kids to Knotts. It was a lot of fun. Kind of crowded but still fun. They have a new attraction there where the playhouse use to be. It is a maze that ends in a fome pit. The kids had a blast there.

Saturday was full. After Knotts we met up with Andrews dad and dropped him off to head off to our next activity for the day. Our friend Noah's Birthday at My Gym. The kids and adults always have a blast there. It is fun for all ages :) We didn't get many pictures because we were playing too.

After the party we headed home took baths and decorated eggs. Ya I know we waited until last min. But we have been so busy I forgot. At least we got it in :) The kids had fun. Then the kids went to bed so the Easter bunny could come. Don't mind the pictures my kids look a bit white trash that night :)

he next morning the Easter bunny came. The kids loved going through their stuff. We had to be quick though because church started at 9:00.

After church we headed to Downey for dinner at the Dwelley's and dessert at my mom's. They had a Easter egg hunt for the kids at both houses. I love watching my kids run around wide eyed as they find eggs. I can still remember Jonathan's 1st Easter. Walking around my mom's backyard collecting eggs. He would pick up an egg hold it in his hand see another drop the one in his hand to pick another. Then he would open them. Inside were his favorite thing at the time, rocks. Hey better than candy for a 1 year old :) Oh the Easter memories. Time goes by so fast.

After Easter the sickness really hit our family. Poor Jonathan was stuck in the house for his entire spring break. Braden was the sickest. Jonathan was pretty good until yesterday and today. He woke up with his ear hurting. This may never end. Even though we were sick here our Easter week turned out great. It was full of family and that is all that matters.
