That kid just can't stop. He is going to make us go broke with all his Dental work. He jumped off something at school today and hit his chin on a girls head. His top and bottom teeth hit. The school called me just to let me know and said he was fine to stay at school. But 1 minute later I got another call saying Jonathan wanted me. So off I went to get him from school to see the damage.
You can't see it that good in the picture but his top left side gum is black and blue and it it bleeding around two teeth. So I made a dentist appointment for him. At 2:00 we went in for him to take a look at his teeth. One of the teeth has a crack in it way in the top so they put a tooth splint on it. It looks like my 5 year old has braces on. He was excited though. A tooth didn't get pulled today. Before we got to the dentist he said a prayer for his teeth. Not sure what he said but he had to let me know that before we walked into the office. We go in for a check up in 2 weeks (Matt's birthday) to make sure the crack has healed itself. That kid of mine is a hand full. Later on during the day we were making fun of him saying he cried and the girl didn't. He said he told the girl sorry then started to cry. What a polite boy. I guess we have taught him something. Here is a picture of Jonathan with his braces.
I know he has more metal in his mouth than teeth.

I have never heard of that little tooth "splint" thing. Interesting! He still looks adorable.

Oh poor Jonathan, and your poor bank account! At least you have comfort in knowing he will cost you far less as a teenager than Katelyn will!

anyway I'm glad they were able to take care of it...let's hope he has better luck with his adult permanent teeth!!
dude, my nephew could write a book. all these crazy stories and he's only 5!
poor boy!!! Torben fell when we had him and thats why his tooth got pulled... It died.. Good thing its just jonothan's baby teeth
