5 days of much needed relaxation

Matt and I just got back from a Baja Mexico Cruise. It was so much fun. If you have never been on a cruise I highly recommend it. We can not wait for the next one.

You have to go with fun people though. And I think our travel partners were the best. We went with Scott and Liz.

I didn't start the cruise off right I got a bit sea sick and thought it was going to be a miserable trip. But once I got my cool wrist bands and my pills I was good to go. Our room was small but that's OK we didn't have to share it with anyone. What do you think Matt did when we first got there. If you guesses napped you were right. I tried to get a picture of it but he opened his eyes opened and he couldn't stop smiling.

We had our first day at sea and just relaxed in the sun. They had a sauna and steam room that we all went into at least once a day so relaxing.

When we got to Cabo we had our activity all planned out. Scott and Liz did the Canyon Canopy which looked like a lot of fun. But, Matt really wanted to do something in the water so we did Snuba diving. It really was a lot of fun we got to swim with the fish and explore the bottom of the sea. So much fun. We Only went about 20 feet under which was enough for me. Net time I want to do the Canopy adventure.

The first night at dinner which I missed due to my sea sickness I guess the boys ordered a milk with dessert. Our waiter gave them a hard time because baby's drink milk. Everyone else was ordering coffee or a cocktail. So every night there after just before dessert our waiter would bring the boys milk. It was pretty funny.

Along with that dinner experience we each tried something new for dinner Liz and Scott liked it. Matt and I not so much. Liz ordered escargo. Yep that's right we ate a snail. I think to our kids that was the best part of our vacation. Not me. I won't be trying that one again.

Our Nightly dinner table it was the same six every night. This was a couple we ate with. They were a very nice couple. We enjoyed every dinner we had with them.

Each night they had a show that we went to. Very good entertainment. One night there was a hypnotist. I got to go up on stage but was unable to go under. I think it was because I couldn't relax enough. Your feet are suppose to be flat on the floor and I could barely touch it with my toes.
Our last night on the ship. And our last show. To get good seats we would go a littler early and play cards at our table. Lots of fun.

Our cruise was successful. I am already looking at other ones. Its not to early to plan. Who is up for a cruise?

That looks like a lot of fun!

Mark's brother took their first cruise this past Summer and loved it. I really want to go on one.

I guess I would have to look for those kid friendly ones, or wait a couple years! : )

I am soooo jealous!! I want to go on a cruise so bad, but I am so scared of them. The last time I was on a boat I thought I was going to die of sickness. Though, that was a Catalina boat so it may not be the same.

If you do ever come up this way I am so up for a dress sewing day!!

How fun!!! When you said "Guess what we did when we first got on the boat", I was thinking something TOTALLY different. A nap is good too hahaha!!!
