Does Motherhood Get Any Easier??????
I swear just when I think my kids have done it all they surprise me with another. Its the second day of school. We were getting ready for school. I was upstairs doing my hair, the kids were all ready. I asked Jonathan to go to my car (which I though was in the garage) and get his snack bag out so I could pack it for him. He goes to the garage and realizes the car isn't in there. Instead of telling me he and Katelyn open the garage and go out to see if it was parked in the street. To his surprise it was not. He thinks his dad has taken it to work. Again instead of telling me this he and Katelyn hop on their bike and scooter then decide to go to dads work themselves. Are you kidding me. What 4 and 5 year old does that? Mine. They had gotten around the corner when a lady walking her dog spotted them and yelled at them to get back in there house and where was their mommy. Mean while I am upstairs and I hear kids outside my window I have a feeling to check on my little ones and to my surprise I see Jonathan riding up on his bike. This lady gives me an ear full making me feel worse than I already did. Thank heavens for that Lady because who knows how far they would have gone or if they would have gotten hurt. They could have gotten lost. Heck they are related to me and if you know me at all. I got lost going to my grandma's at 15 and she lived 10 min away from us. I love my kids to death but man they are going to put me in the crazy house. I sat down with them both and let them know they are not allowed outside of the house with out me or their dad. Jonathan got his bike taken away for a week. He insisted he could have gotten to his dads work. So I ask again does it get any easier?

Oh my gosh!! That is so scary. Though, this will be a funny story later. Thank you so much for posting on my blog and having me look at what happened to Katelyn, it's totally comforting.
I've got to start by saying I love your posts. Especially your, the winner is one. We all have those "events" where we're sure social services is coming for us, but most people just don't admit to them, so thanks for your honesty, it's refreshing and comforting to know, it's not just me.=) Also, geez, I thought my kids were busy and came up with some crazy schemes, but your's win, Hey, they sure are cute though.
Your kids are too smart and funny!!
Kevin and I laughed alot!!! HAHA Tell them we say "hi" and that we love them!!!
Good thing that lady told them to go back and they didn't get any farther than they did. :) Kind of scary what kids will do.
