Yes, I am the winner of the worst mom award. Jonathan has some cavities and had to get a bunch dental work done today. We didn't have the money so we had to postpone it until we got the funds. We waited a bit to long. Today he had to get emergency dental work done because one of his teeth got really bad. So bad they had to pull it out and put a spacer in his mouth. I feel so awful because it is mostly my fault. As a mom it is my responsibility to make sure he takes care of his teeth and I slacked. I couldn't sleep last night because I felt so bad. I shouldn't even be posting this. Who shouts out to the bogging world there parenting mistakes. I am an idiot. So to all you mom's and soon to be mom's. Make sure you drink your milk when you are pregnant, your kids get the fluoride vitamins they need. And YOU brush and floss there teeth for them. That is one thing they told me to do. This is a depressing blog for me. Because I feel really bad for my little guy. But we all learn from our mistakes. I know I sure have.

Johno! I'm so sorry about your tooth, poor guy. Next time I see you at grama's and papa's, i promise we will look at lot's of bugs on the computer!
Your not the only one. Wyatt has like 8 crowns. Some of it is just his mouth, but I could have prevented a lot of it by just going to the dentist every six months and brushing his teeth for him. Needless to say the girls go every 6 months and get everything taken care of pronto. You live and learn. Don't be too hard on yourself.
My friend just took her daughter to the dentist and they told her to floss too! I hadn't realized how important flossing for a 2 year old is! AND you aren't a bad mom, all the pictures of your kids smiling faces and all the fun you and Matt provided them with this summer and all the time proves otherwise. You have a cute family and even though we make mistakes it's ok...at least it's not his adult permanent teeth! Life is still good! ;)

Aww poor guy. It's hard sometimes to remember. I don't floss Kyla teeth cause she doesn't like it. She like brushing her teeth though, bubblegum flavored toothpaste guarantees that. :)
Oh poor Jonathan! Well don't feel so bad, Ellie had some major dental work done on Tuesday and had to go to the hospital to be under anesthesia! She got 4 crowns, 6-7 baby root canals, and a bunch of fillings...I felt horrible.
Seriously, just like in my text the other day, you are one of the best mom's I know!! I can only strive to be as good of a mom as you are!!
