Oh the fried food.

Last Thursday we went to the OC Fair with the Reese Family. It was dollar ride day so we packed everyone up and headed to the fair. We don't normally go on the rides but, this year we did. Jonathan is tall enough to go on most the rides and Katelyn can go on some. I wish Katelyn was taller she is the one that wanted to go on all the good rides. I had to bribe Jonathan. My favorite ride there was the big slide.

The green slide is Andrew, pink is Katelyn and I, blue is Geremy and Josh and red is Jonathan. The yellow kid is just some random stranger. He's not with us.

This ride was really fast. Katelyn loved it then half way though the ride if you can see it there is a big yellow tarp that flys over you and you are in this bubble. None of us had seen that part happen before. Matt though the ride was breaking. Katelyn no fear loved it.

This is a ride I had nver seen before but it was a lot of fun. The kids had a blas flying through the air. I love to hear Katelyn's happy scream. It puts a smile on my face.

This was the last ride we went on Katelyn wanted to go on it but was too short. I finally got Jonathan to go with me. His comment while on the ride going down a hill was, "I have to get off this thing"

Going to the fair brought back so many fun memories I had as a kid. When I was younger there were carnivals all the time by our house. Not so much anymore. My dad, Grandma and Grandpa would take us and we would spend the whole night there going on rides and playing games. My grandparents spoiled us. There was one ride we would always go on. The one that spun around in a circle and the walls would move up and down. They had it at the fair I would have gone on it but #1 no one would go with me and #2 I would have thrown up. Its not the same when you are 27. I don't know how my dad did it. So after the rides we got some fried food. Who can go to the fair without getting the fried stuff??? Not me. The kids got a corn dog that was like two feet long. I should have taken a picture of that one. Then Matt and I got some fried zucchini that was like eating a normal size corn dog. They were huge. Fried food got to love it.

Josh, Jonathan, Katelyn, Braden and Andrew taking a picture infront of a camera.

Braden loved the snakes in the cages but out of the cages he wasn't to hip on. Or maybe it was the size of the snake he didn't like?

After dinner we went to the kid zone. There they had a bunch of imagination things there, a big sand box and a reptile show. The best part was that the kids all sat on a table and took pictures with the biggest snake I have ever seen. I'll have to post that one later because a friend took the pictures. Braden wasn't to excited he sat there with this very concerned look on his face. The other kids loved it. I would not go near them until the snake was off of them. I hate snakes especially ones with heads as big as mine. Not for me. But hey my kids can play with it. After the snake we went to a magic show that was alright the kids had fun I though it was kind of cheesy. After that we went and looked at all the animals and went home. I the only thing we didn't do was go through the booths I wish we would have done that but oh well the kids would have hated it. We love the fair and can't wait to go again.
