Jonathan turned 5 on Friday. We had a birthday weekend for him. What a lucky kid. Friday we went to Lego Land on his actual birthday. We had a blast. We had never been. I wish it was closer because we would get passes. Jonathan was able to invite his friend Tanner my little brother Torben, my little sister Kirsten and his cousin Austin. We had seven kids so I had to recruit some adult help. My mom, sister and Lisa came. Us adults had just as much fun as the kids. At the end of the day we had a bit of a spill. The big kids all went on a roller coaster while my mom watched Braden and Katelyn. When we got off the ride to meet them they were not there. I tried calling my mom but she didn't answer. So we walked around a little more then my phone rang. She said they were on the best ride ever. First Aid. Braden took a dive over a fence and hit his head pretty bad. The lump on his head was so big I couldn't even look at it. The nurse there said it had gone down a lot. I'm just glad he was with my mom and not me. I might have freaked out. Good thing it was at the end of the trip. I have to give Lego Land two thumbs up. we had a blast.
So after Lego Land we went right home and to bed. We had another big day ahead of us. I planned a family surprise pool party for Jonathan in the club house on Saturday. Once everyone got there Matt brought him in blind folded. When he saw everyone there he had the biggest smile on his face. It was a fun day with family. I love when we can all get together. I hope my kids appreciate it when they get older. My mom always made sure we did a lot with our family growing up and I am grateful for that. I have some really fun memories with my cousins because of that. They are some of my best friends. Family means a lot to me. I want it to mean the same to my kids. Well Jonathan is one year older and he reminds me of it everyday. He is already talking about when he turns 6. He is growing up way to fast for me.
