Brave Jonathan
I have to say Jonathan is becoming such a big boy. First, I can't believe he is starting school in September. He is doing so well in pre-school with his writing and letters. I think he will do great in Kindergarten. But, the most amazing thing happened last week. Well, amazing for Jonathan. We went to Knotts Berry Farm for FHE. The park was only open for a few hours and no one was there so we took the kids on all the rides. I really wanted to go on the sidewinder ride and with a little incentive Jonathan said he would go with me. Now for Jonathan that is a big deal. He is a real chicken. But he had fun. I knew he would. I find that I am a bit like my dad trying to force bravery on my children. I don't want Jonathan to be a wimp. The best part of the whole ride was when it first started. We were in the first car and once we got to the top Jonathan says as he looks down, "this is going to be a fast one". I held his leg because his hands had other priorities. They were holding a death grip on the bars in front of him. When the ride was over he said he liked it. All I can say is that I am so proud of him and how much he has grown. He can be a hand full some times but he is a sweet boy that can always put a smile on his mommy's face.

Yea Jonathan! That is a big deal!I'm not sure I have been on that ride. It's been a while since I was at Knott's.
I can just keep picturing Johnathon's face as he realized what kind of a ride it was- hilarious!
I love that you do Jonathans hair...it always is fun, and looks good. When people don't make their kids do their hair it's dumb.
