Hair Trauma

Jonathan decided to open up a salon today and Katelyn was his first customer. He pulled up the chair and Katelyn sat down as Jonathan styled her to what he thought to be perfection. This is defiantly a hair cut I will NEVER forget. I think this is the most traumatic thing that has happened to our family so far. This is worse than stitches. That I can handle, this I was in tears and it wasn’t even my hair. My mom says I will look back and laugh. I hope that comes soon. I know it is just hair but my pretty little girl looks like a boy. Christmas pictures are going to be great. This is what she looked like when I first saw her. I started to cry. She didn't have much hair to begin with but, what she had I loved. No more piggy tails for her. Not for a while at least. All her pretty bows now have no where to go.

This is what she looked like after I cut her hair. I used the clippers a #8 the longest one. My poor little girl. Braden's hair is as long as her's now.
She looks like a baby lying there.

My three little boys!!!

I'm so sorry! Your mom speaks the truth- these painful at the time events always make us laugh with our girls now. Great job on the haircut- it looks darling on her. We missed you tonight- we all love you lots and totally understand that life gets a little "cutting" at times (sorry, I couldn't resist!)

Danielle I have yet to be in your position but honestly she has such a cute girlie face I hardly believe she would EVER pass for a boy! I think it's cute still! Headbands will still work! Keep the silver lining! ha ha One day you will laugh...

She is BEAU-tiful!Honestly Danielle- Very Natalie Portman. She has soft features and after we get her ears pierced, she look like a doll! Love, Love, Love it!

She's adorable any way you go! I do admit her little pig tails were cute, but she'll love looking back on this when she's older. I actually cut my friend Stephanie's hair when I was 4. Ha ha. Boy was my mom embarrassed to take her home!!:) But I love seeing the pictures now and remembering what was going through my head as I chopped away.

well she isn't as cute as me when I was her age. Now she looks like you and I guess she is still cute LOL. Don't worry it will grow back and she will look like me again so that's a plus.

At least her face is very feminine. she really does look like a girl sitting with the two boys. Put a little mouse in and she's good to go.

AHHHHHH! I would die and I cut hair for a living. Oh My Gosh Danielle... I am so sorry. You'll just have to put cut baretts/bows in her hair now and let it grow out.
